The recently concluded Wyawasaya exhibition in Colombo, Sri Lanka, was a celebration of the vibrant creativity and cultural heritage of small and medium entrepreneurs in the country. Held from March 31st to April 2nd, 2023, at the BMICH, the exhibition provided a platform for entrepreneurs to showcase their products, network with potential customers and partners, and gain exposure and recognition for their businesses.
The exhibition featured a diverse range of products, including traditional wooden masks, paintings, clothing, jewelry, and handcrafted items. The entrepreneurs behind these products were on hand to share their stories and experiences, providing visitors with a unique opportunity to learn about the passion and hard work that goes into creating these beautiful products.

One of the highlights of the exhibition was the traditional food stalls, where visitors could sample authentic Sri Lankan cuisine, such as kalu dodol, Kevum, and kokis. The food stalls were a reflection of Sri Lanka's rich culinary heritage and the entrepreneurial spirit of its people. And also there were new products which prepared from traditional ingredients like kurakkan ice cream, and bites made from Jack fruit.
The Wyawasaya exhibition also provided a valuable platform for small and medium entrepreneurs to connect with each other and learn from each other's experiences. Through networking and collaboration, entrepreneurs were able to share ideas and insights, helping to foster a culture of entrepreneurship in Sri Lanka.
